December 2021 recap

 Happy New Year 2022!

We started off with a relatively mild month of December weather-wise. I got to attend a 5-day virtual conference/training from our cabin, which was a treat for many reasons. 

 

Doug the dog got to "commute" with me every day, and I think he enjoyed the extra time together.

Another highlight of the month was seeing West Side Story in the (nearly empty) theater - our first movie outside our house in nearly two years! I highly recommend it - it was FABULOUS.

Toward the end of the month it got bitterly cold. 

Yes, my truck said -20 F one day!

 We nevertheless persevered and continued our annual Christmas Day tradition of hiking the perimeter of our property.

We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner....

...and spent most of Christmas day relaxing and playing with our new "toys."

November 2021 recap

November was a lovely month. We enjoyed the the milder temperatures and tried to take advantage of the outdoors. We went for several walks with both of our outdoor cats:

We had a lovely Thanksgiving:

 

 We selected and decorated our Christmas tree:

 

And the best news of all was that kiddo was able to get fully vaccinated this month! Hooray!!!
